Hilton Aruba to expand with construction of new building

For some months now rumors have been circulating that the Hilton Aruba hotel will be building a new tower/building on its existing property. Recently, this information has been confirmed by the hotel itself.

The new tower with a little over 160 additional rooms is an investment of over 100 million dollars. The new tower will be located at ‘Ocean Front’. This means that the rooms will have a view of the ocean. This will make it the fourth tower, as there are already the Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao Tower. The new tower will be located in front of the Curacao Tower. Construction will begin in May 2023 and will last until 2025. During the construction, part of one of the pools will be closed in order to accommodate a crane that is part of the construction. In addition to the construction of this new tower, the hotel itself will undergo various renovations. All the restaurants will undergo drastic changes in their interior.

On social media, loyal hotel visitors have reacted in different ways. Some welcome the expansion and renovation. On the other hand, others do not see the expansion as necessary and are concerned that their vacation may not be as they had hoped due to the construction work going on on the property.

The hotel has informed that there will be no construction work during busy weeks such as Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
