Minister Dangui Oduber: we are ready to continue to invest

“When you govern a country you get the opportunities to make decisions, invest in unique projects and determine the trajectory of your island. You have to have the vision and at the same time, you must have the conviction and courage to make the correct decisions for the well-being and progress of the island. We are pleased to be renovating and restoring the monument of the former DOW building”, said Minister Dangui Oduber last night at the Hyatt Place, after signing the MOU with ATA and APA.

This option has been discussed for quite some time now, during which the Aruba Ports Authority was taking the majority of the space for its offices and now the Aruba Tourism Authority will open a “visitor center” as the building is conveniently located right across the cruise port.

APA will then exit the building as it becomes a part of the new Port City project. This is to be the start of a grand new project for the coming decade.

If the plans and projects keep going as follows, the old DOW building will start its restoration process at the start of next year.
