Tuesday morning at around 12:40 am, the police and firefighters rushed to a house that was on fire in Bernhardstraat, San Nicolas.
It all started with a mattress that had caught on fire and the flames were spreading rapidly. Luckily, the home is uninhabited and no one was inside when it ignited. Nevertheless, the fire was spreading so rapidly and even threatened homes and other buildings in the vicinity.
The firefighters rushed to the scene to fight the flames as quickly as possible and after a while, they managed to get the fire under control. The neighbors were complaining of a strong stench that was penetrating the neighborhood and into their homes.
