Unexpected rainfall this morning

We are currently in August, nearing September, and these months are some of the hottest of the year. This was especially noticeable on Saturday when the heat and humidity were at an all-time high.

On Sunday morning, however, various parts of the island received a heavy bout of rain. Many were surprised by this, as it had been quite some time since the last showers.

The forecast for the rest of Sunday, as well as Monday, includes more rainfall. It luckily does not evolve into a storm.

According to Meteo, a Tropical Depression formed on Friday and is moving east toward the islands above the coast of Venezuela. Luckily, this Tropical Depression does not appear to form a threat.

The tropical wave might mean more humid times ahead as well as potential rainfall, thunder, and lightning.
