After various hours: Two lost Colombian tourists found in Arikok Park

Authorities were active in the darkness on Tuesday night as they were searching for two lost tourists. They received information about two people on vacation in Aruba who went out into Arikok and who did not return.

As these tourists were lost in unknown terrain at night, the police sent out people on the ground as well as their helicopter. A team of park rangers was also deployed to aid in the search. Finally, after hours of searching, the tourists were found.

They had lights in their hands and were waving them at the authorities, which really helped in the search. When they were found, authorities were pleased to see that they were not in need of any medical attention. They were, naturally, just very thirsty. Thanks to the cooperation between the police and the park rangers, the missing tourists were located in just a few hours.
