Just before noon on Sunday, an accident occurred in Bushiribana in which a tourist was injured. Unfortunately, this tourist will be headed back to The United States with unpleasant memories of their trip. In the morning hours, the tourists rented a recreational vehicle to explore the island.
There were three people on the vehicle, and after getting used to it, they gained a little more confidence. In the process, however, they ended up flipping the vehicle. The tourists informed the rental company, who then in turn, alerted the authorities.
The police and an ambulance went to the scene, and upon their arrival, they found the driver of the vehicles sprawled out on the ground next to the UTV. Paramedics tended the driver, whose body was covered in scrapes and bruises.
They carefully liften the driver into the ambulance and got them to the hospital. In the meantime, the police commenced their investigation by speaking to the other two tourists present and the owner of the UTV arrived to take the vehicle back to the company for repairs.
