A driver of a white van lost his liberty on Sunday night after causing an accident that left a woman injured. Police officers encountered two severely damaged vehicles in Sabana Liber. The drunk driver did not regulate his speed and rear-ended the vehicle in front of him.
The woman inside the other vehicle was experiencing a lot of pain and was later transported to the hospital in an ambulance. Authorities conducted an alcohol test on the driver of the van, and after many attempts, he showed an alcohol level of 960, which is practically the highest level that the machine is able to indicate. This was enough proof for the police to handcuff the driver immediately and take him to the police station. Finally, a tow truck was called to the scene to remove both vehicles, as they were severely damaged.
