Authorities rushed to Piedra Plat on Saturday night after receiving reports of a stabbing. Upon their arrival at Sunflower Minimarket, there was no sign of any victims, weapons, or blood on the floor to indicate that anything had happened there.
They started searching the area and a little further at Tanki Leendert # 161-B, they found a man who had been stabbed in the ribs. He informed the police that the perpetrator had wielded a large knife and stabbed him with it.
The stab wound was not deep, which is why the victim was in stable condition and able to speak with the police. He also informed the police that he knew the individual who stabbed him. The issue apparently goes way back and even involved throwing rocks at one another at some point.
The police gathered all necessary information and a little while later, detectives arrived and took over the case. They will investigate what happened while the police officers go in search of the suspect.
