Sunday night the police were called to tend to an accident that occurred in Koningstraat. Here, the driver of a dark blue Toyota hit a parked Honda Fit. When the police arrived to inspect the situation, they quickly noticed that the driver was very drunk.
This accident occurred just past midnight and both vehicles sustained some damage.
The drunk driver was detained and transported to the police station. They will also have to pay for the damages caused to the parked car.
