The police had their hands full with incidents in Playa this weekend. Practically all of them were caused by intoxicated individuals. In this case, a drunk driver collided with a traffic sign right behind the Court building and ripped it out of the ground.
This occurred at around 1:00 a.m. The police found the sign thrown on the ground and the driver was attempting to flee the scene. Due to his level of intoxication, he did not get very far.
The police detained him right away and requested a transportation vehicle to bring him to the police station.
