A collision took place that left both the vehicles involved with a lot of material damage. Fortunately, no one was injured during the crash but the victim in this crash was shocked when the other driver got out of their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
This all occurred at around 2:15 a.m. in the Sero Patrishi area. Here, the driver of a blue Mazda was approaching the paperclip roundabout when they hit a white Kia coming from the other direction.
The driver of the Kia watched in shock as the driver of the blue Mazda got out of their vehicle and just walked away. The police were notified immediately, and upon their arrival, they were met with the stunned driver who was still trying to process what just happened.
The police got a description of the perpetrator and reported the incident. According to the victim, the person who abandoned the scene appeared to be under the influence. This is likely why they fled the scene; to avoid being arrested. A little while later, a tow truck was called to the scene to move the Mazda off of the road.
