On Friday night, the police, once again, had their hands full dealing with various incidents all around our island. Because the holiday season is approaching, the streets are expected to be much more active in the coming days and weeks. In the early morning hours on Saturday, at around 1:35 a.m., the police went to the Linear Park area to intervene and eventually detain two individuals.
Apparently, a group of young men were seated on the side of the road near Linear Park when the police approached them to inspect the situation. It was at this moment that some of them made a run for it. The police chased them on foot and managed to apprehend two of them. Upon further inspection, one of them was found to be in possession of a weapon, while the other had various other items in his possession.
The police proceeded to detain both individuals, and a transportation unit arrived to take them to the police station where a prosecutor will handle their case.
