Five years asked for human trafficking

Today, in the morning hours, the representative of the Public Ministry finally spoke out regarding punishment for a case of human trafficking.

The three people involved in this case are Robert Laveis, Reangelo Stamper, and Ignacio Sarmiento. All three have the same accusation, which is human trafficking resulting in death and/or complicity in this crime. The second accusation is human trafficking which took place in November 2022.

All three deny any involvement and speak only of a favor that a lady, who is a friend of Laveist, asked them to do on March 22, 2023. But the other case, according to the statements of these three men, has nothing to do with them.

The prosecutor said that there was no doubt because there was also a statement from the captain from Venezuela. He is the one who transported Johanna Salazar to Stamper, who then had to bring her to Aruba. However, she never arrived in Aruba.

According to the prosecutor, Johanna was thrown 1.3 km from Aruba, and it is impossible that she reached Aruba.

Five years were requested for each one of the suspects and the sentencing will take place on December 13th, at 8:15 a.m.
