The police Academy is to commence a new class with eleven students by the end of 2023

As is known and as we have reported, there is a significant shortage in the Police Force. This has drawn the attention of Chief Commissioner Ramon Arnhem, and with the support of the government, efforts are being made to address this issue as quickly as possible.

This year, lessons will begin with a small class of 11 students, and two more classes are set to commence next year as well. “This is necessary because we need people, and the shortage in the police force is very serious. So, I am very pleased that in this way, we can welcome new colleagues.”

The Police Force is very grateful to the Minister of Justice for his help and support in this matter. According to Arnhem, the new class is really necessary, stating that we need new colleagues as quickly as possible. This class will undergo basic training for the police, and later they can choose different directions or specializations.

“I take this opportunity to invite men and women to join our organization, to reinforce our organization.” New positions and new classes are coming, so everyone is welcome to apply.

There is a lot of interest, but the selection procedure is rigorous; you cannot just become a police officer easily. The better prepared you are, and the more people apply, the more selective the process will be.
