On Friday night, we received a notification about a wildfire that was posing a threat to a house in the Nuñe neighborhood. We stayed on the scene for quite some time, observing how the fire was spreading. In recent days, there have been several cases of fires on our island, some caused by natural factors and others by human activities.
This situation in Nuñe alarmed the neighbors in the area, who immediately tried to combat the fire that was in a wooded area behind a house. There was a significant amount of dry grass in the area, making it more challenging to extinguish.
We do not yet have information about the cause of this fire; during our live broadcast, some individuals suggested that it might have been set intentionally.
Authorities arrived at the scene, and everything was brought under control. They managed to contain the fire before it could spread any further.
