With significantly fewer children compared to the year 2023, the Noord Parade also faced a small problem. However, this did not take away anything from the fantastic atmosphere that has always been felt in this parade.
This year, 315 children actively participated in the parade, with 237 assisting in one way or another, reaching a total of 552 people in the entire parade, compared to the more than 500 participants in the 2023 parade.
This year, compared to 2023, there was only one band in the parade representing NBO. The rest of the music was provided by Relay. Unfortunately, a pickup truck carrying one of the relay systems encountered problems and caused a delay in the parade.
The participating groups were: Centro di Bario Noord, which participated with the theme “Mi Buki Ideal”; Bon Bini School; the second group was Calabas Carnival Group with the theme “Sneeuw Blanco”; Fantasia in Nature, which is what Bon Bini School participated in. Yupi Yupi Play School participated with 20 children.
Other participating groups were: Kudawecha Primary School: SPK Ta Educa; Rosea Cultural Foundation; Cultural Book; Chikitin Bin Bin Play School came with the theme “E Kitrin di Florin Hunto Eva Conta Storia & Peek-a-boo”; Pierewietje Dancers with Celebration Book; and Washington Preparatory School; Dede Berde. These last two groups had 60 or more participants, making them the larger ones.
