A severe accident occurred on Saturday night after the parade in Noord.
A car came down from Turibana when the driver suddenly swerved into the house located at Kamay #1. The woman behind the wheel was accompanied by two friends. The driver received quite a blow to her right eye, which was bleeding heavily. She needed urgent medical attention to avoid losing her eye.
An ambulance was rushed to the scene and helped to stabilize the driver before taking her to the hospital.
After being evaluated by the police, the two passengers got a lift home. The victim’s family also arrived, and the police asked them to go to the hospital.
A tow truck was necessary to remove the car from the yard. It should also be noted that due to the impact, a concrete block broke the sliding door to the house.
