On Thursday, at 7:58 pm, the police, in collaboration with SMAC, initiated the Light Parade in San Nicolas.
On this evening, the KPA (Police Force Aruba) had a total of 193 personnel, consisting of uniformed police, detectives, Special Units (ME and AE), Flex Team, Mobile Commando, K9 Unit, Traffic Unit, Motorized Unit, Planning Unit, administrative staff, and CEA personnel on foot.
By 12:33 am, the head of the parade reached Joe Laveist, and by 2:20 am, it concluded.
There were a total of 13 arrests, including those for drug offenses, resistance against the police, failure to obey police orders, possession of a weapon, disorderly conduct, and insulting police officers.
In the year 2023, there were 9 arrests.
