Curaçao has issued Code Yellow: Aruba experiences a cold front

Everywhere on the internet, one can read about the weather changes being felt in different parts of the world. It started in Europe and continued to America. Recently, it was noted that the forecasts show a drop in temperatures, and Aruba is already talking about a cold front that has reached the Gulf of Mexico.

Here in Aruba, not much new information has been heard, but essentially, the same forecast as always has been issued. However, what the residents are experiencing is somewhat different. There have been a couple of days with rain during the late evening to early morning hours. Additionally, yesterday, the Meteorological Service of Curaçao provided information that was slightly different from that of Aruba.

Yesterday evening, dark clouds could be seen from the early afternoon hours. In the high-rise sector area, one could see how the change in weather affected the beach and hotels.

Today, in the morning hours, it was noticed that Curaçao issued a Code Yellow. Here in Aruba, there hasn’t been any news about this yet. The report this morning at 5:30 states the following: A cold front is bringing a little cool air to our region.

This will cause some showers in some parts of the island. The sea is good, albeit a bit rougher in the southern area.
