While the majority was enjoying the parade, at least six individuals with bad behavior were detained. It happened in Awakatistraat, near the former Kooyman, where the police arrest team detained six people for not following orders.
These individuals didn’t hesitate to insult the police in every possible way, drawing attention to their behavior. The situation escalated, and at one point, the individuals even got physical with the police. Little did they know they were dealing with the police force’s “elite” team. They were not given a second chance and were immediately detained and transported to the police station.
