The 70th Parade featured eleven groups accompanied by 12 bands with over 4,000 participants

Due to a slight delay caused by the rain, Aruba’s 70th Grand Carnaval Parade commenced a bit after 10:00 am. At around 10:30 am, the first group started moving, and the last group, the final lap with Musical Time, left at 5:20 PM.

The first to reach the audience was TOB Carnival Group, presenting the Mysteries of Africa. They had three bands: Shine Music, Groove Master, and N’ Fuzion.

When TOB was at Plaza Betico Croes, the second group, Infinity, started moving out of Dakota. They had a group of tourists who joined them in the parade, dancing to the rhythm of Delicious. Next came another loyal carnival group, Royal Carnival Group, with 150 participants, enjoying the music from NBO.

Dushi Carnival Group followed with 336 participants, 2 brass bands, and Jeon and his band. OPC group came next with Oreo and 250 participants, joined by a new group called Colours with 30 participants and a DJ accompanying them.

Group No. 7 was immensely large: Champagne Carnival Group with 1163 participants. The participants danced to the rhythm of Youth Extreme and Tsunami.

The Hot Ones band accompanied the 20 participants of Unity Carnival Group. Following them were the ones who never miss any parade, the “Los Laga Bay” group accompanied by Robert and his Solo Band Show and 460 participants.

Empire took the penultimate spot with 612 participants and the music of Buleria. Lastly, the Mariniers Steelpan group concluded with the final lap featuring Musical Time.

In total, there were 2 brass bands, 2 steel bands, 1 DJ Set Up, an Entertainment set by Setar, and 12 live music bands. The total number of participants was 4,230, not counting assistants and musicians.
