Just after the Grand Parade came to an end in Oranjestad, the police rushed to the Harbour Arena to tend to a fight. Two women were having a heated argument and it escalated into physical violence. They started pulling each other’s hair right in front of the police. It happened at the entrance of the Harbour Arena, where there had been a fight over a past issue.
The two women were having an all-out brawl until the police managed to separate them. Unfortunately, they could not resolve the matter themselves, as many police officers then came to intervene. In numbers, they descended upon them, pulling them apart.
Both were arrested for fighting on the street. In the same police vehicle, they were taken to the police station where they were presented before a prosecutor who would decide either on their imprisonment or release.
