On Friday afternoon at around 4:45 pm, the police apprehended a man behind the former Central Hotel on Elleboogstraat. Just one day ago, this same man had been apprehended and released, and now he has been found causing trouble again.
His freedom lasted only a few hours as he was suspected of breaking into people’s homes and stealing. A special police team dealing with home burglaries was on the lookout for him. The police from the TOP section located and immediately arrested him.
He was transported to the police station where he will be presented before the prosecutor, who will decide whether he will be incarcerated or released.
