On Saturday night at around 7:50 pm, the motorized police unit encountered a Toyota on Watty Vos Boulevard heading towards Oranjestad. The driver was driving recklessly on the road.
They managed to stop the vehicle for an inspection, and it turns out that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. There was no other option but to detain and transport them to the police station.
The driver was then presented before a prosecutor to deal with the case and decide on either imprisonment or a fine.
