A few weeks ago, the City Inspector came to the former police station in Playa on Wilhelminastraat to start working at the site, assessing how it could be transformed. Various departments also joined in to assist in the cleaning and removing of all items, leaving the place completely clean.
However, just a couple of days later, they started sealing the area with plywood in the areas where wandering addicts used to enter, turning this building into their home.
They covered everything, from the front to the back, sealing off all doors and windows to prevent anyone from entering and doing any more damage. On Saturday, it was noticed that some addicts broke the plywood and tried to enter once again.
Regrettably, the addicts continue to damage the place while relevant authorities are doing their work to keep the area clean.
