Last Saturday around 11:30 pm, the police went to Caya Frere Johannes to tend to a heavily intoxicated man who smashed the windows of his own car.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police observed that the individual could not be reasoned with, leading them to decide that the best course of action was to detain him and take him to the Police Station. There, he would have to go through the standard procedure and be presented before a prosecutor.
At his house, everything was overturned, both inside and outside, with bins and a lot of papers scattered around. The motive behind his aggression is not known.
