Earlier this afternoon there was an explosion in Boroncana during which a wooden shed caught fire. This prompted both the fire department and the police to rush to the scene.
Those at the scene removed two gas cylinders from the room. It cannot be said if there were more gas cylinders. During the process, an explosion was heard. This explosion frightened everyone in the vicinity.
Police units as well as two fire engines arrived at the scene. The police ensured that everyone stayed away from the area, while the firefighters began to combat the fire to prevent it from spreading. The firefighters quickly gained control of the situation. The cause of this fire is not known.
