It is not the first time that there has been an accident at the intersection of Weststraat and Professor Lorentzstraat. On Sunday night, after 8:30 pm, yet another accident occurred at this notorious intersection. This accident involved a black Hyundai SUV and a dark silver Mitsubishi Lancer.
The police arrived at the scene to attend to the accident. It was a serious accident leaving people injured. The impact was so strong that it caused the SUV to swerve off the road and collide with a tree in front of a house. An ambulance arrived at the scene and paramedics treated those who complained of pain.
The Mitsubishi Lancer suffered significant damage to the front, while the Hyundai had damage to the right side.
