Wildfires continue on our island, and on Sunday afternoon, around 5:30 pm, the police and fire department responded to yet another one at the Aruba Juniors field.
Upon the firefighters’ arrival, they immediately sprang into action to extinguish this wildfire. The fire was spreading rapidly, but the firefighters managed to control it. The police ensured that no one got close while the firefighters battled the fire.
After a few minutes, the firefighters successfully extinguished the fire completely. Thus, they prevented the fire from spreading further and becoming a danger to the nearby houses.
