On Wednesday at around 4:15 pm, police responded to an accident near Papiamento Restaurant in Washington.
Police understood that the accident itself occurred on the Montserrat road, just nearby. Initial reports stated that a cyclist took a sharp turn and was struck by a car. The vehicle continued on its way, leaving the cyclist injured behind.
At the scene, the authorities found out that the cyclist actually collided with the back of a car and fell off. The driver of the vehicle. however, did not stop when the cyclist hit their car and fell. An ambulance provided medical attention at the scene because the man refused to go to the hospital.
