Jean-Neida Ignacio, the granddaughter who filed a complaint against her grandmother on Tuesday, has decided to come forward and give her side of the story. In another article published yesterday, a grandmother was accused of mistreating her granddaughter, leading to an argument where the granddaughter ended up injured and the grandmother detained.
It is understood that the granddaughter lives at her grandmother’s house with her three children. She admits to filing a complaint against her grandmother. Everything began during an argument where her grandmother pulled out a knife and injured her granddaughter’s face. “I decided not to let this continue because it’s the third time she has pulled a knife in the house. First, it was with my siblings, and now with me. But none of us dared to report her.”
According to Jean-Neida, most problems and arguments arise from conflicts the grandmother starts with her children. And that was the case again on Tuesday. “She pushed me, then tried to hit me with a milk can.” She admits to pushing her grandmother back, which is when the knife was drawn.
She says that thankfully, she managed to step back, and the knife only scratched her face. She noted that her grandmother did not regret what she did because she continued arguing and then went to put away the knife.
Many arguments start because the three children leave things dirty in the house. There’s always trouble with the grandmother, yet it is she who asked Jean-Neida to come to live with her in 2022.
Because she’s a single mother, her financial situation is difficult, and she finds it difficult to save money. But her goal is to buy her own house and move out.
