An elderly woman unexpectedly wound up in police custody. This issue has been ongoing for quite some time, and according to family members, the elderly woman has been enduring all sorts of abuse in her own house. Her granddaughter, together with her three children, are living in the grandmother’s house. She is a single mother and her oldest child (of twelve) watches over the younger two (eight and nine). For the records, the house belongs to the grandmother and is under her name.
While the mother goes to work, she leaves her 3 underage children behind. Several times, the granddaughter has abused the grandmother, and this time, in yet another one of those attempts, things went too far. The grandmother defended herself with a kitchen knife and injured the granddaughter’s face. Based on this, the granddaughter reported the grandmother, and the authorities went to detain her.
The elderly woman, still in her home clothes, was arrested and taken to the police station. She underwent the interrogation process, and they kept her in custody at the San Nicolas police station. The family feels that this is all part of the granddaughter’s plan. The intention is to make the grandmother’s life so miserable in her own home that she will eventually enter a nursing home.
The house remains the grandmother’s until she passes away. The granddaughter has no respect, and her behavior sets a bad example for the younger children living in the same house.
Let us hope that this granddaughter leaves the house and lets the grandmother live in peace, no longer having to defend herself in her own home.
