A man by the name of Marc Alison Willems was detained at the airport on Monday. He was ready to board a Tui flight to the Netherlands when, according to customs personnel at the airport, they caught him red-handed.
Drugs were found hidden in various items but were mainly sewn into the lining of his bag. The Narcotics Team took over the case after customs personnel detected the drugs in the suitcase bound for the Netherlands.
The 29-year-old Marc must now answer to the authorities for attempting to smuggle drugs to the Netherlands via the Aruba airport.
