On Tuesday night, Wilmer Cervantes parked a pick-up truck outside a house in Jaburibari, and in the short time he went to look for something, everything had been stolen out of his trunk.
Cervantes, who is in the business of importing materials from Colombia for residents here in Aruba, went to deliver materials to Jaburibari.
He had just received the furniture shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday night. He parked his pickup with the brand-new sofas in front of a house and went to buy something to eat. When he returned around 9:00 p.m., the sofas were gone.
He explained that they were very large, so they could not have been taken easily. Within the two hours he was gone, thieves passed by and took the furniture. The sofas are two beige and one black and belong to a customer who needs them delivered.
Anyone who may have seen a vehicle leaving the houses in the Jaburibari village with three sofas, please call 7460698. There will be a reward.
