At around 1:00 PM, a traffic mishap resulted in an accident between a car and a scooter, with the latter’s rider sustaining injuries. It seems that the driver of the Getz car pulled out onto the road without noticing the oncoming scooter, causing the collision. The accident occurred right in front of IBISA, at the Frankrijkstraat and Italiestraat intersection.
The scooter was heading towards Bushiri when the Hyundai Getz collided with it. It was noted at the scene that there were several parked cars along the road, obstructing visibility.
The man riding the scooter was screaming in pain, and there were signs that he may have fractured his leg. Several people helped to provide shade for the injured person while waiting for the ambulance to arrive, as the sun was blazing at that time in the afternoon.
