On Sunday at around 3:40 am, the police were mobilized near Santa Ana church in Noord where a person covered in blood was asking for help. Upon the police’s arrival, the person had already gotten into a black Isuzu pickup truck, heading towards the hospital.
Immediately, a person stopped to inform the police that the bloodied individual had just boarded the pick-up that had passed the patrol car. The police officers followed the vehicle and pulled it over. According to the victim, he had fallen off a scooter. However, the situation seemed suspicious, prompting an investigation where the Forensic Investigation Team (BFTO) and detectives were called to the scene, where there was a significant amount of blood on the road.
A witness contacted our editorial desk and reported that there was a person in need of help in Noord, near Imeldahof, and the only thing they could do was remove the belt from the person’s hand because they had a deep cut on it. They mentioned calling an ambulance, but the person ran away, leaving their bag behind.
The witness stated that they picked up the bag and placed it by the bus station. BFTO officials confiscated it.
