Multiple firefighting units rushed to the WEB plant in Balashi for a large fire. From afar, thick black clouds of smoke could be seen. Apparently, one of the motors at the power plant is on fire.
This is a RECIP engine, so it cannot be referred to as a new engine. Other information received indicates that it concerns a Wartzila recip engine that is still in use for power generation. It is part of the third set of engines acquired by WEB.
It seems that this engine is in one of the isolated chambers.
A while later, WEB posted an update that said the following: a fire occurred in motor RECIP engine #7. There were no injuries, and the power supply is under control for now, albeit delicate.
