On Friday night at around 7:30 pm, an accident occurred in front of Domino’s Pizza in Paradera. It involved a Volkswagen with the license plate “Cheeky” and a Toyota Yaris.
The driver of the Volkswagen, who was delivering pizza for Domino’s Pizza, was headed to an address in Amistad. He had several hot pizzas in the car. The young driver tried to take a shortcut but didn’t anticipate the Yaris coming from the opposite direction. The driver of the Yaris couldn’t do anything else and collided with the Volkswagen. An ambulance arrived to provide medical attention to the driver of the Yaris, who sustained minor injuries.
Since it happened in front of Domino’s Pizza itself, the manager rushed out to rescue the pizza. They immediately put it in another car so the pizza could still reach the address in Amistad, albeit now lukewarm. Traffic police also arrived to document the accident.
