Tuesday afternoon at around 3:00 pm, the police were called to one of the streets in Schelpstraat for a case of theft.
An owner returned to his white Nissan pickup truck and found the hood open. Upon further inspection, he discovered that thieves had taken the battery and also cut various wires.
The owner called the police immediately to report the situation. Investigators arrived at the scene to gather all the details of what had happened. The Bureau of Forensic Technical Support (BFTO) was also notified of the incident.
