Shortly before 4:00 PM, black smoke was seen rising in the air of Pos Chikito/Sabana Basora. It turned out to be a raging fire.
Upon arrival, both the Police and the Fire Department confirmed that it was the house at Sabana Basora 11Y. According to our sources, the fire started in the dry grass behind the house and quickly spread. As soon as the residents found out, the authorities were alerted.
While trying to escape the flames, two cars were driven out of the garage but the third one was completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters fought, but the house’s interior burned very quickly; they could only advise people to stay outside at a safe distance. A family of six lives in the house.
