Saturday night at around 8:30 pm, police rushed to the parking lot of Renaissance Ocean Suites for a serious incident.
At first, it was thought to be a stabbing and that medical attention was urgently needed. It didn’t take long for the police to start asking around and gather more information.
It turned out to be a shooting instead of a stabbing as initially indicated. The young man injured had wounds on his body but no perforations. At least one witness reported that three guys were chasing him and from about 50 meters away, shots were fired at him.
On the lowest floor of the hotel, a bullet hole was found in a window. These are all the initial reports, but nothing can be confirmed yet.
The investigation team and forensic team have been notified and will proceed with the investigative process.
