Results from the Technical University of Munich are in: Balashi has excellent results!

Recently, the brews from “Brouwerij Nacional Balashi” (Balashi, Chill, and Magic Mango) were submitted for testing at the renowned Research Center Weihenstephan for Brewing and Food Quality (BLQ), a central institute of the Technical University of Munich in Germany. Weihenstephan serves as a bridge between science and practice with the goal of supporting the beer and beverage industry and its suppliers from a technical, technological, and economic perspective, using current scientific knowledge and practical experience.

Brouwerij Nacional Balashi is not affiliated with the university but voluntarily submitted its three brews for impartial testing and evaluation. The beer classification included a comprehensive analysis of scientifically measurable components, such as visual, aromatic, and flavor qualities. Brouwerij Nacional Balashi has reason to celebrate, as each of its beers received high scores.

The overall scores (with a maximum score of 100) were as follows: Magic Mango, a tropical and artisanal beer from Aruba, received a 92; Brouwerij Nacional Balashi’s original and exclusive beer, Balashi, a crisp golden pilsner, received a 95; and Chill, Aruba’s refreshing beer for enjoying by the sea, outperformed them all with an almost perfect score of 99 points.

“Cheers” on behalf of Brouwerij Nacional Balashi to demonstrate the world-class beers of Aruba proudly produced here at home, in the brewery located in Balashi.
