The Aruba Olympic Committee (COA) is celebrating 40 years since the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially welcomed Aruba into the Olympic family on October 17, 1986.
Over the past four decades, the COA has played an important role in promoting Olympic values and supporting the development of sports in Aruba. During that time, Aruban athletes have represented the island on the international stage, showcasing the talent and potential of Aruba to the world.
As it marks this milestone, the COA is expressing its gratitude to everyone who helped establish a National Olympic Committee in Aruba, as well as those who have contributed to its achievements over the years through their dedication and hard work.
While celebrating its legacy, the COA is also looking ahead. The committee remains committed to promoting Olympic values, creating opportunities for young people, and advancing its vision of building a better community through sports.
