Fuel prices in Aruba will adjust on Wednesday as part of the government’s standard monthly price review on the second Wednesday of every month. Driven by fluctuations in the international oil market, both gasoline and diesel will see an increase at the pump.
- Gasoline: Increasing by 2 cents per liter from its current price of Afl. 2.909.
- Diesel: Rising significantly by 17 cents per liter from its current price of Afl. 2.863.
The bulk of local fuel revenue continues to go to the government through high excise duties and a multi-tiered turnover tax (BBO), leaving gas station operators with slim profit margins. With global energy markets remaining volatile, officials have not indicated when prices might ease.
