Tuesday afternoon, information was received about a passenger who arrived on our island dead. All authorities were notified about this incident.
During the United Airlines flight from Newark, which arrived around 3:30 pm, a male passenger born in 1996 in Colombia but with a US passport passed away. Paramedics that arrived first at the scene indicated that the person has been dead for about 2 hours already, but they were waiting on a doctor to declare the person dead officially. The partner of the deceased was also aboard the flight. Slachtofferhulp also arrived at the scene to assist the partner. An investigation will have to determine what happened to the 25-year-old young man during the flight.
