Friday night around 10.30 pm, concerned neighbors called the police for a delicate situation at an apartment complex in Nobelstraat, Oranjestad. At one of the apartment lives an elderly man with his wife. The old man is known as ‘Morales,’ . Neighbors expressed that they have not seen him for two days. He is usually up early in the morning walking in the yard, but did not seen him neither on Thursday nor Friday.
At night, a worried neighbor decided to check if something could have happened. They knocked several times on the door and window, but nobody answered.
This gave enough concerns for the neighbor to call the police and ambulance. When they managed to enter the home, the police encountered the body of the man. Unfortunately there was not much that the first responders could do, and by 11:05 pm, Dr. Texier pronounced the man deceased. From our understanding, his wife is currently abroad at the moment.
