Ivy Anne Browne dedicated work to her father

Ivy Anne Browne is a student at St. Paulusschool in San Nicolas and has been painting since she was 6 and has been doing this for five years now. Ivy Anne dedicated a painting to her father, who is a cancer patient. He was diagnosed during the pandemic with liver cancer.

Ivy Ann cannot be with him and vice versa because of the distance. Her father lives in Florida. Therefore she dedicated a painting she made during a workshop at Cosecha.

The art piece illustrates the rough waves, signifying the difficult months her father went through battling cancer. The foot and the crab symbolize how he beat cancer.

Ivy Anne made different paintings during these times. The most popular ones are the ones made out of macaroni titled Pop-Art. Then there’s the one she dedicated to Sara-Quita Offringa, which the athlete signed.

Ivy Anne would like to advise young and old to follow their dreams. Believe in your dreams and never stop dreaming.
