BES islands close their airspace to Russia

As is already known, Europe has closed its airspace to all aircrafts and airlines registered in Russia.
As the BES islands (Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba) fall under the Dutch Kingdom, these restrictions also apply. According to a notice sent out to NOTAM* pilots, due to the Ukranian crisis, all aircrafts registered in Russia and all aircraft property of, fleet of or exploited by natural persons and legal companies of the Russian Federation or operators with an AOC certificate authorized by the Russian Federation are prohibited from entering, leaving, or flying over the Bonaire Control Zone (CTR) with the exception of humanitarian flights, (SAR) search and rescue, or chartered flights that have the permission of the relevant Dutch Authorities and in case of emergency landings.
Due to these revelations, the Minister in charge of Transport, Integrity, Environment and Seniors Affairs, Ursell Arends, indicated that as soon as he receives instructions from the Dutch authorities, he will take the necessary steps and announce this accordingly. In the case measures or steps are taken, the Prime Minister will be the first to make the announcement.
*NOTAM; Announcement for aerial interests, is an announcement presented to aviation authorites to alert pilots of potential dangers on flight paths or areas that can affect flights.
