While Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine, various international icon buildings have lit up in the colors blue and yellow in honor of Ukraine. This is done in a show of solidarity with Ukraine. One can think of buildings such as The Empire State building in New York , The London Eye in England, Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany, The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
Here on Aruba we did not stand aside and watch. Last night the new Gloria building on Sasakiweg was completely illuminated in the colors of the Ukranian flag.
During the followings days, as the conflict continues between Russia and Ukraine, the lights will remain lit in the yellow and blue colors. This way, Aruba also shows it supports for the painful situation Ukrainians are living through the past week.
