This morning a person was injured in an accident involving two vehicles at the Mondi Fierno intersection.
According to our sources at the scene, the vehicle in the back did not notice when the car in front of them was about to make a turn, which then caused the vehicle to rear-end the other. This accident took place at around noon, and the two vehicles involved are a blue Nissan Tiida and a light blue Chevrolet Spark.
Various police units arrived at the scene to divert traffic as well as to tend to the accident. A little while later, an ambulance arrived at the scene to tend to the woman behind the wheel who was injured during the collision. She was experiencing quite a bit of pain in her neck. In order to have her receive more medical treatment, she was transported to the hospital.
